Find here the schedule of the Rounds – April 11, 12, 13

Come to see the candidates of the 8th Orleans International Piano Competition “Brin d’Herbe” compete, from April 11th to 13th from 2:00 PM at the Salle of the Institut of the Conservatory of Orléans. These rounds will be followed by a prize-giving ceremony and the laureates’ concert on Sunday, April 14 from 3:00 PM, same location.
The contest is open to the public and the entry costs between 3 and 5 euros for each day (and between 7 and 10 euros for the pass which will give you access to all the rounds and concert).

  • Gentet Maroussia

    First Prize Blanche Selva

    Maroussia Gentet won the ‘First Prize Blanche Selva’ of the 13th International piano competition of Orléans (France), in March 2018 as well as 5 other Prizes included the Sacem Prize.

  • Jo Hyeonjun

    Interpretation Prize - André Chevillion-Yvonne Bonnaud

    En mettant sa sensibilité, son talent, et sa lecture exigeante de la musique au service de la composition, il est récompensé ex-aequo, du Prix de Composition « André Chevillion – Yvonne Bonnaud » lors du 13e Concours international de piano d’Orléans.

  • Ogura Miharu

    Composition Prize - André Chevillion-Yvonne Bonnaud (ex-aequo)

    En tant que compositrice, elle remporte ex-aequo, en 2018, avec Labyrinthe pour piano, le Prix de Composition « André Chevillion-Yvonne Bonnaud » au Concours international de piano d’Orléans.

Created by Françoise Thinat, the International piano competition of Orléans (France) brings the piano repertoire of the 20th and 21st centuries to a consistently growing audience, reveals the talent of young artists and follows them from the beginning and throughout their carrier.
The first edition took place in 1994 – competition every two years, even years.

The International piano competition of Orléans for youth ‘Brin d’herbe’ open to pianists under 18, takes place every two years, odd years.
