Aline Piboule was a prize winner of the 11th Concours International de Piano in Orleans 2014. She was awarded no less than 5 prizes, including the SACEM award for the premiere of “Lichen” by composer Jérôme Combier.
Renowned for her artistry and energetic pianism combined with a wonderful sensitivity, Aline Piboule performs across France and abroad. She has recently been invited to the Opéra Comique in Paris, and to Festivals in Verbier, Aix en Provence, Lille and Fontdouce.
A passionate chamber musician, Aline has appeared with artists such as Jocelyn Aubrun and Vincent Le Texier, at venues such as the Grand Palais (Paris), the Aldeburgh Festival (UK), the Pontlevoy Festival, in the Salle Molière as well as at the Opéra National in Lyon.
Aline recorded her first CD in 2010 with flutist Jocelyn Aubrun, solo flute of the Orchestre National de Lyon under the Lyrinx label to great acclaim by critics such as the magazine Classica who awarded it 4 stars.
With her specialised knowledge in contemporary music, Aline has collaborated with numerous composers including Henri Dutilleux, Rodion Shchedrin, Hugues Dufourt, and ensembles such as Court-circuit, 2E2M and Itinéraire.
Aline Piboule is regularly invited to perform on French radio in programmes presented by Philippe Cassard, Frédéric Lodéon, Gaëlle Le Gallic, Steéphane Goldet.
Aline studied at the CNSMD in Lyon (she obtained her diploma with the highest distinction), at the Conservatoire Supérieur in Paris (Postgrad studies) and was in the class of Jean Saulnier at the Montreal University. She is a prize winner of the international competition “Città di Padova” (Italy) and of the Déclic programme for the promotion of young French artists abroad. Aline is also a beneficiary of the Mécénat Société Générale, ADAMI, the Meyer Foundation, and the Arts Centre of Orford (Canada).
